This is an active military airbase located between Bury St
Edmunds and Thetford in Suffolk it has an excellent tarmac surface around 3000 yards long,home of the Suffolk Mile.

An interesting point is that this was the venue where the first certified 200 mph run over a flying mile
by Alf
Hagon in 1967 at 206.54 making him the first Englishman to exceed 200mph on a motorcycle.
The noise limit for this venue
will be 112db maximum which is fairly generous compared to other venues,please dont turn up with an unsilenced machine and
no open dump pipes for turbos.
