 Honington is no longer suitable for a top speed event so we are looking for an alternative venue in
the area.
ELVINGTON 20/21 August 2011
Again this is
a famous venue in landspeed racing which will be familiar to most competitors and further details about the airfield are available
in the Venues section.
We will be sharing this event with The World Wheelie
Competition.
Elvington Event.
Our two day top speed event for 2011 will be held over the
weekend of August 21st and 22nd at Elvington Airfield over a one mile distance,details to follow.
Places are limited
at the moment so its first come first served.
Noise limits will apply as always and these will be 101db for all "street"
bikes and 106db for "racing" bikes if you are not sure which class you will fall into please ask for clarification
before the event.
Camping is available on site during the weekend included with your entry,the organisers will charge
£10 on the gate for day entry.
Woodbridge.
One of our more famous venues is sadly unable
to host any motorcycle top speed events for the foreseeable future but we do hope to bring you good news regarding alternative
venues shortly.

The Suffolk Mile is intended to be an annual event with a trophy table for various speeds.
We hope
this event will become internationally known just as the Maxton Mile is recognised in the USA.
Current Suffolk Mile Champion
is Mike Merse.
